A six-year-old child drowned in a Louisville, Kentucky area country club pool earlier this summer after rescuers found him unresponsive and half-submerged in the water.
Keegan Adkins reportedly died after being taken off life support the day following the accident at the Woodhaven Country Club. Reports say the boy died from a severe brain injury resulting from being submerged under water.
Reports also say his mother had been watching him, but lost sight of him for a moment as she was changing poolside seats.
