Reports say a 26-year-old died while using the Radisson hotel pool in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Jacob Lars Parish, a local resident who was a member of the Kalamazoo Athletic Club, a club that used the Radisson as its base gym and pool facility, was not a guest but was using the workout facilities.
Reports say the hotel drowning accident occurred when Kalamazoo Emergency Services was called to the Radisson at about 9 p.m. to find several people performing CPR on Parish, who was unresponsive. Emergency Services attempted to resuscitate him for nearly an hour before Parish was pronounced dead. Reports say he may have been underwater for 15 minutes before being pulled from the pool.
